Last
29 August 2010, the Philippine KOICA Fellows Association (PhilKOFA) convened at
the Emerald Room of the Lancaster Hotel (Mandaluyong City) to re-visit its
Vision-Mission-Goals. PhilKOFA President
Judy Vermudo welcomed the group with few words on the activities that has
reserved for the day.
After
a short introduction of all the participants, Bago City Planning and
Development Coordiantor Edwin de Nicolas started the presentation on the
Vision-Mission-Goals relative to any organization. With the help of Mr. Nicolas’ IAF partner
(Germany), Mr. Marlon F. Tagorda, the group had reviewed the components of the
PhilKOFA’s vision. The outward- and
inward-looking components of the vision were defined by its success indicators and
was rated to determine the gaps which are material in the determination of
PhilKOFA’s succeeding plans to narrow the gap.
Later
in the afternoon, after thorough and careful scrutiny of the terms, the group
has finalize its proposed Vision, Mission, Objectives and Strategies to be presented for approval at the General
Assembly sometime in November.
The
group ended its day-event with the impressions of the participants.
